
Lamb chops with curry
Ingredients

- 6 Lamb chops, about 2 cm thick
Vegetable oil
For the curry:
- 0.5 Tbsp. ground coriander
- 0.5 Tbsp. cumin powder
- 0.5 Tbsp. teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pinch Ginger powder
- 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- 1 pinch Powdered cloves
- 1 small pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch Flower of salt
- Prepare the barbecue for direct cooking over medium heat (180-230°C)
- First prepare the curry. Combine cilantro, cumin, pepper, cayenne pepper, ginger, and cloves in a small skillet.
- Heat spices over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until fragrant, then for into a small bowl.
- Add the turmeric and salt, then stir to mix well.
- Carefully degrease the chops. Lightly oil them with a brush or spray, then coat them with curry on both sides.
- Grill the chops over direct medium heat until the desired doneness, 5 to 8 minutes for medium rare. Serve hot.
