Pizza “red onion and honey pie” style

- 1 pizza dough
- 4 large red onions
- 2 tbsp. Thyme
- 1 tbsp. Honey
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper from the mill
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- Spread the dough in a previously buttered pie pan.
- Peel the onions, slice them and melt them in a pan with the olive oil without browning them, salt and pepper.
- Add half the thyme, cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the lid halfway through cooking and add the honey, stir then let the onions cool.
- Once the onions have cooled, place them on the dough.
- Sprinkle again with thyme.
- Cook for 20 minutes.
