
Skillet quinoa with vegetables
Ingredients
Instructions
- 1 glass of white quinoa
- 1/3 glass of millet
- 4 glasses of water
- 1 C. teaspoon organic powdered vegetable stock
- 1 C. garlic powder
- 1 glass of frozen peas
- 3 carrots
- 400 g tofu
- 4 tbsp. tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tbsp. tamari soup
- 1/2 tsp. Italian spices
- 1/3 glass of soy cream (or cow or coconut milk)
- In a large skillet, place the quinoa, millet, water, finely chopped carrots and vegetable broth.
- Mix and leave on high heat until boiling. Then reduce the heat to medium until the liquid has completely evaporated.
- Add the peas and spices. Mix and reserve. In a small skillet, brown the diced tofu with the oil and the tamari.
- Stir regularly and add to the pan-fried quinoa. Add spices and cream.
- The pan is ready! Alter the seasoning to your liking with fresh lemon juice and fresh cilantro for me.
