  • 1 sheet ready-to-bake all-butter puff pastry
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 9 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 vanilla bean

  • Melt the salted butter and pour it into a baking dish, spreading it evenly over the entire surface and the sides.
