Dahl of lentils with coconut milk

- 300 g Coral lentils
- 2 pinches Turmeric powder
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 3 dried red peppers
- 2 tbsp. teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons Oil
- 20 cl coconut milk
- Salt
- In a saucepan with 3 liters of water, place the lentils and turmeric.
- Bring to the boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Meanwhile, deseed and finely chop the peppers.
- In a fry pan with the oil, put the mustard seeds, the cinnamon stick and the chilli to cook for a few minutes, while stirring. Keep warm.
- Strain the lentils and remove the cooking water. Return the lentils to the pot.
- Forr the chilli mixture and add the coconut milk. Simmer for a few minutes over low heat, stirring.
- Serve very hot, lightly powdered with grated coconut and accompanied by white rice.
