Easy Ham Fried

- 2 puff pastry
- 100 g White ham heel
- 40 g grated Emmental cheese
- 20 g Butter
- 15 g Starch
- 40 cl Milk
- 1 egg yolk
- Salt
- Pepper
- Preheat the oven to th 6 (180°C). Dice the ham. Grate the cheese.
- Prepare the béchamel: melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the starch without ceasing to mix with a wooden spoon.
- Gradually for in the milk while whisking. Season with salt and pepper and cook until the taste of raw flour has disappeared and the béchamel is thick enough.
- Add the ham and grated cheese.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut 4 rectangles out of each.
- On half of the rectangles, place a little ham preparation then cover with another rectangle of dough.
- Seal the edges well and brush each pastry with egg yolk dissolved in a little water or milk.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes and serve hot.
Tip: add a few sprigs of chopped parsley to the preparation.
You can also replace the béchamel with 3 tablespoons of cream mixed with 1 whole egg.
