
Scallops with leeks
Ingredients
Instructions
- 16 scallops
- 1 kg Small leeks
- 100 g semi-salted butter
- 1 Bunch of chives
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt
- Ground pepper
- Wash the leeks then cut them diagonally into small sections.
- In a pot of boiling salted water, blanch them for 5 minutes. Drain them and refresh them.
- In a fry pan, melt 50 g of butter and steam the leeks, covered, for 10 minutes. Reserve them.
- Melt the remaining butter in the skillet. Add the scallops and brown them for 1 minute on each side.
- Add the pressed garlic, salt, pepper and cook for 1 additional minute.
- Divide the leeks and scallops among plates. Sprinkle with chopped chives and serve.
Tip: You can make this recipe even creamier by adding 1 tsp. heavy cream on each plate.
